Introduction to SQL:
Instructor Facilitated On-line Course

Structured Query Language (SQL) is the industry standard database programming language. It is used to create databases, manipulate and retrieve data, and to provide security for relational databases. Some of the more popular Database Management Systems (DBMSs) that implement SQL include Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL. If you work in a field managing data or you plan to work in a field managing data, you should make learning SQL a priority.

Introduction to SQL is a low cost ($59) instructor facilitated on-line course that covers much more than most introductory SQL courses. Learn the key concepts of SQL and gain a solid working knowledge of this powerful and universal database programming language. You'll learn the basic structure of relational databases, how to read and write simple and complex SQL statements, and advanced data manipulation techniques.

Introduction to SQL is offered at many accredited colleges, universities, and other accredited educational facilities around the world. Because it is a non-credit continuing education course, there are no admission requirements at the colleges or universities. This course is six weeks long and consists of 12 lessons. Two lessons are released each week. The lessons are supplemented by interactive quizzes, assignments, and online discussion areas available via the World Wide Web.
